explanatory. It explains all that follows it.
GENESIS and the PENTATEUCH (first five books of moses -Genesis-
Deuteronomy). Considered the LAW by the Jews (Matt. 7:12; John 1:17)
In these first 5 books you a progressive 5-fold Revelation of How God related to
His People.
GENESIS-DIVINE SOVEREIGNTY=In creation and direction
EXODUS- DIVINE POWER-In redemption and freedom
LEVITICUS- DIVINE HOLINESS- In separation and sanctification
NUMBERS- DIVINE GOODNESS AND SEVERITY- in caring and judging
DEUTERONOMY- DIVINE FAITHFULNESS- In discipline and destination
These five parts of the Pentateuch have been described as the Bible in miniature.

LESSONS OF GENESIS:
GOD EXISTS – Genesis affirms the existence of God- Genesis tells us that
something now is- therefore something has always been. Is something did not
exist then something could not come from it. IN THE BEGINNING GOD!!!
GOD’S CHARACTER- Creator- Lawgiver-Juddge-Provider-Covenant maker and
fulfiller of His promises. In Him we see love, mercy, understanding of man, his
willingness to show grace if repentance comes, also holding men accountable for
their actions. His Character is RIGHTEOUS and HOLY and He desire His People
TO be the Same.
MAN’S SPECIALNESS TO GOD. Man is the object of god’s love and is
redeemable in God’s eyes.
NATURE OF SIN-SIN IS A CHOICE- THE PENALTY FOR IT IS JUST- THE
ANSWER FOR IT IS THE SEED OF WOMAN- JESUS CHRIST
THE BLESSING OF FAITH-OBEDIENCE FAITH PERMEATES THE BOOK
OF GENESIS-
THE IMPORTANCE OF A PATTERN- IN THE BUILDING OF THE ARK- DO
ALL EXACTLY AS GOD DIRECTS.
THE FAITHFUL REMNANT- GOD’S FAITHFULNESS TO THE FAITHFUL.
SCIENCE AND THE SCRIPTURE-SCIENCE DEALS WITH MATTER (ITS
RELATIONSHIPS AND LAWS. SCRIPTURE VIEW REALITY FROM THE
STANDPOINT OF HISTORY. ALL TRUTH IN SCIENCE, HISTORY OR ANY
OTHER CATEGORY AGREES WITH ULTIMATE TRUTH. ALL TRUTH

Conclusion- if Genesis is not true, the New Testament falls. The very scheme of
redemption is based on the fact that God is and that Man is responsible to Him.
Also, that sin entered and separated us from God and that man is in need of
redemption and God has provided that redemption in the coming Savior.
To reject Genesis is to destroy our faith because Jesus endorsed it in Matthew 19:4-
6).
The atheist claims the bible, especially Genesis is unbelievable. Yet he maintains
and believes the life began with an amoeba which decided WITHOUT a brain to
HAVE a brain, arms, legs and gender, and to change species millions of times to
become man YET HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?????------Stan
